How To Make Tent Weights Out Of PVC Pipe

A step by step tutorial on how to make tent weights from PVC Pipe. I used 2″ diameter PVC pipe and cut the pipe to 12″ long.

I plan on using these weights at the next show I have, which is in Skiatook, Oklahoma on June 23rd & 24th. I will be attaching a long bungee cord from the roof supports of my canopy to the eye bolt and letting them hang to help weight them down. If you need more weight you can purchase a 3″ diameter PVC pipe, but I think the 2″ diameter is just enough. Normally I use gallon jugs of water to hold down the tent, so can’t wait to try these out. Plus, I have limited room in my car for the trip down to Oklahoma, so these should help cut down on space needed. Although, I guess I could buy the water jugs when down there, but don’t want to lug them and these will work for me in the long run, rather than purchasing new gallon jugs every time I have a show!

I missed out on making a video of how to make these, so hope the pictures work well!
